If there is one facet of my life I'd like to banish to the n-th level of hell, it would be my propensity for quoting movie lines. I know it's annoying for the other viewer(s), and they have every right to smack me upside the head. I've shown marked improvement by at least repeating quotations silently, instead of out loud like in previous instances when I'm not alone. But at the same time, it's an uphill battle. So I give you my Top 5 movie quotes of all time.

5.) "I set the building on fire." (Milton, Office Space).

4.) "Do you expect me to talk?" (James Bond)

"No, Mr. Bond. I expect you to die." (Goldfinger)

3.) "3,000 years of beautiful tradition from Moses to Sandy Koufax. You're god-damn right I'm living in the fucking past!" (Walter Sobczak, The Big Lebowski)

2.) "I find your lack of faith disturbing." (Darth Vader, Star Wars IV: A New Hope)

I only realized recently that there are people who find movie quoting irritating. Of course, that's cuz I'm bad for that too, although probably 50% of it is strictly Seinfeld. I just find that there is an appropriate Seinfeld quote for every situation. Of course I have a friend who is annoying with the movie quotes because he will sit in a movie trying to memorize quotes. He's a bit overkill on...well, just about everything.

This is why I have decided that I can never leave my circle of friends...because how many people do you meet who can pick up abstruse references to "Sideshow Melvin Van Horn," or "Rochelle Rochelle?"

By the way, I meant to reply to this on Saturday but couldn't use my computer given that I am shomer shabbos.

Some day soon, I'll set up a base camp in Romania where I can welcome in young ladies travelling from Milan to Minsk.

And you should know replies constitute extreme emergencies.

Jeez, everyone knows Rochelle, Rochelle. Try making references to Sack Lunch.
