Your first suspicion is usually the correct one: Crunchy has been AWOL due to a severe lack of laughter and joy. For the past week, I've attempted to incorporate some alternative therapy to relieve the melancholia going around. I may have gone a little overboard with the Mel Brooks marathon.

Mel Brooks!!! His films are probably one of my all time favorite!
I watched only couple mins of Space Ball last night. I thought it wasn't that funny, but I LOLed last night. So I guess they are ALL funny.

D'oh! How could I forget the memorable Spaceballs? Not to mention I left out Carl Reiner, too.

At least you have Guitar Hero to fall back on. My fingering is so clumsy (even w/ fake guitars), I'd probably botch "Smoke on the Water."

I've already started and have my song in hand...errr...throat. In fact, I discovered the person who sang the famous version dismissed it at first for being too difficult to sing.
